Simple and pay-as-you-go with volume discounts and free reads. 100 live trial calls, unlimited test-mode calls, only writes are billed post-trial.
The model in one paragraph
When you subscribe to Premium or Accountant Pro, you get 100 free live API calls and unlimited test-mode calls (using a test_sk_ key). After the 100 live trial calls, only writes (POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE) are billed. Reads (GET) are free.
Test-mode calls never consume credits — use them freely during development. Failed calls count against the live trial but do not deduct credits.
Volume pricing for writes
Write prices decrease automatically as your monthly write volume grows. The counter resets on the 1st of every month (UTC).

A shared credit wallet
API credits live in the same wallet as Finora Business's verification services. Topping up once covers every paid lookup you need.

The billing lifecycle
- 1Subscribe to Premium or Accountant Pro. Your account is seeded with 100 trial API calls.
- 2Generate a key in Settings → API & Integrations. Start calling the API — or flip to a test_sk_ key for unlimited free sandbox calls.
- 3For your first 100 successful live calls, responses include usesTrial: true in the meta block.
- 4After trial, writes (POST/PUT/PATCH/DELETE) reserve the current tier cost before the request runs. Reads (GET) are free.
- 5As your monthly writes cross 10,000 and 50,000, the per-write cost drops automatically to ₦50 and ₦25.
- 6When your balance drops below ₦500, we email you. At ₦0, writes return INSUFFICIENT_CREDITS until you top up. Reads still work.
Billing-related errors
These codes are your early-warning system. Handle them gracefully and your integration stays healthy.

Prepay bonus
Buying credits in larger lumps earns bonus credit, automatically. Applies to any single top-up that crosses the threshold — no commitment, no paperwork.
