We version the public API with semver. Breaking changes bump the major version and live under a new URL prefix (/v2/). Additive changes land in the current version.

Pricing overhaul — 100 free trial, free reads, volume discounts, prepay bonus
A substantial pricing change that makes Finora Business the most developer-friendly accounting API in the Nigerian market.
- 100 free trial calls (up from 10) on any Premium or Accountant Pro plan.
- Unlimited test-mode calls.
test_sk_keys never consume credits — build and test integrations with zero billing. - Reads are free after trial. GET requests on any endpoint no longer cost anything. Only writes (POST/PUT/PATCH/DELETE) are billed.
- Volume-tiered writes. First 10,000 writes/month: ₦100. 10,001–50,000: ₦50 (auto). 50,000+: ₦25 (auto). No opt-in required.
- Prepay bonus. Top up ₦100,000+ in one purchase for +10% bonus credits; ₦500,000+ for +15%. Pairs with the volume tiers so mid- and high-volume writers both see a discount.
No breaking changes. Existing integrations see lower bills on their next invoice.

Public launch
The Finora Business REST API is public. All 161 endpoints across 23 modules are live in production. Retail developers can generate keys at app.finorabusiness.com/settings/api-integrations.
